UWC Short Courses – globally
UWC Short Courses offer a transformative opportunity for individuals to spark change in themselves and the world within a matter of days or weeks. These courses, available both in-person and online, allow participants to pursue passions, develop leadership skills, and engage with global issues such as peace, sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.

School of Leadership Afghanistan or SOLA is an all-girls boarding school currently operating in Rwanda.

MCW Global – USA & Global
MCW’s Young Leaders Program strives to challenge young leaders across the world to address problems facing their communities in the areas of education, health and economic security.

Asian University for Women – Bangladesh
Asian University for Women is an international university in Bangladesh. AUW admits students globally including Afghanistan. Currently, 85% of AUW students are on scholarship support with many being the first in their family to attend a university.

UniArk Women’s Scholarship For Afghanistan – U.S, U.K, Australia, New Zealand, or within the EU.
UniArk offers a fully-funded scholarship (£ 35,000), awarded on the basis of academic merit and potential, for a woman from Afghanistan to pursue higher education in any of the following countries: United Kingdom, United States, Australia, New Zealand, or within the European Union.

Passage Afghan Program – Canada
Passage helps Afghan women access life-changing opportunities in Canada, along with merit-based financial assistance.

The University of London offers scholarships for refugees and displaced persons enrolling in distance learning programs. These scholarships cover course fees and require applicants to have recognized refugee status. Applicants must first receive a program offer and then submit proof of status with their scholarship application at least two weeks before the program deadline.

Uni of People Afghan Women Scholarship Fund – Online/ USA
The Afghan Women’s Scholarship Fund at the University of the People provides 1,000 scholarships for Afghan women to earn a free online bachelor’s degree. The initiative supports education amidst challenges from the Taliban’s rule. No separate application is needed; students apply through the standard admissions process and can get more information from the Admissions Office.

UNITAR Afghan Youth and Women Entrepreneurship Training – Online/ In-Person AFG
UNITAR offers a training program for Afghan youth and evacuees, focusing on food and economic security through entrepreneurship. The program, running from August 2024 to March 2025, includes online and in-person phases and covers digital, financial, and entrepreneurship skills. It’s open to individuals aged 18-35 with English proficiency, with an application deadline of August 9, 2024.

OSCE Academy – Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a public foundation, established in 2002 by the Kyrgyz Government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The OSCE Academy promotes the principles and values of the OSCE through post-graduate education, professional trainings, research and intellectual exchange.

Geneva Graduate Institute – Switzerland
Given the strong restrictions to women’s higher education in Afghanistan, the master programmes at the Geneva Graduate Institute aim to broaden the reach of Afghan women’s university education abroad, giving them a competitive advantage in the global community.

Singapore International Graduate Award – Ph.D Degree in Singapore
SINGA offers a bond-free award to international students with excellent academic undergraduate and/or master’s results, and strong interest in doing research leading to a doctorate (PhD) or an EngD in Science and Engineering at a Singapore University.

The Hansen Leadership Institute (HLI) is a 3-weeks program that brings together and trains future leaders from across the world in order to promote world peace and international cooperation.

Nanyang Scholarship – Singapore
The Nanyang Scholarship, NTU’s top undergraduate award, is fully funded for exceptional freshmen with strong academics, leadership potential, and impressive co-curricular achievements.

NWI will welcome 15 Afghan young feminist peace activists to a 6-week virtual learning program from 17 March to 28 April 2025. The program aims to deepen feminist leadership knowledge, strengthen tools for advocacy on gender, peace, and justice, and expand networks for collective action. To support full participation, selected applicants will receive a small honorarium to help cover potential barriers like internet access, transportation, or care responsibilities, provided they supply valid bank details.

The McCain Global Leaders program – Online/ USA
The McCain Global Leaders program is a year-long initiative supporting emerging leaders worldwide committed to advancing democracy, human rights, and freedom. The program offers tailored learning, professional networking, and a focus on regional challenges through in-person and virtual training sessions, equipping participants with tools to create meaningful change in their communities.

2025 Skoltech University Scholarship – Russia
The Skoltech University Scholarship in Russia offers fully funded opportunities for international students to pursue master’s or PhD programs in cutting-edge fields. The program provides tuition, a monthly stipend, and access to world-class research facilities, fostering innovation and academic excellence in a vibrant international community.
